Chess is a game of beauty fame power love hatred fear, family countrymen and foreigners.
Each peice represents one of these variables.
Its easy to work out which represents which.
The Knight is obviously the powerful one. (Its a knight, duh).
Fame: in terms of no of squares, and title....The Bishop....
The countrymen....the pawns....
The castle represents beauty, which is about perfect proportions, or it might be the Queen.
Love: to what extent do peices gravitate towards each other (attraction, love, in terms of no of squares moved)
Hatred: The opposite of love ( a Bishop retreating from a square because a Knight is on it)
Family: The king and queen
Foreigners: The opponent's peices.
What do you think of this theory?
Does it open up new ways to play chess, instead of going with normal chess theory envision it as a ecosystem of people?
Also to find out which peice represents which attribute its about experimentation for example this doesnt work:
The King: Power
The Queen: Beauty
The Knight: Hatred
The Bishop: Love
In which case what is the castle? What about 'peices moving towards and away from' other peices?
What do you think of my theory?
