The Realiest Leaving Thread

First, for app users: I’m too lazy to break this, so either just ignore or ask the website folks if youre really desperate.

Alright, I'm leaving. OTF, chess, anything to do with chess.com,
Again, this is intended to get attention 😎. Everyone needs a little of that, and I'm no exception. Just not nearly so thirsty for it as some people around here.

So, primarily, I'm doing this to show that leaving and never coming back at all is indeed possible. And big thanks to Sawdof for the suggestion, really appreciate it 😁

My Last Statement:

I’m closing all my accounts (yep, I got a bunch… most are muted anyway 🙁),

and I hereby swear: 🫡
I will NEVER set foot on chess.com again. PERIOD.
If I do return, I completely acknowledge that I have no right to have even a shred of respect.

A little background about this peculiar new OTF member:
My name is Sam. (I'm not @Boysamuel14 though.) Previously, in early 2024, 2023, 2022, I had usernames like Harrington, WestHartford, Mickey, DonaldDuck, etc etc. I'd give you a list of all the old accounts, but I lost count, made too many to keep track. My original account on chess.com was @Savage00008 whether that is the right format or not.

I first experimented with trolling in December 2017 or perhaps 2018 (at the very least December). I began exploring live chess, then ventured to “Chess’N’Chat” (now a club but then only a chat). From there, I went to tournaments, then to 4-player chess and other forms.

Later I joined clubs, and only in 2022 did I discover the Chess.com forums and OTF. The first people I can recall meeting there are Breeze and Llama. at least, I think so. Then I took a break for about a year, had some time away from trolling, and came back around the fall of 2023.

That's the conclusion to my weirdo little bio.
