Yes it's LONG! close to 3 hour vid. Interesting though and I intend to watch. I agree with the above sentiment, thanks Nikprit for launching this thread.

Here in the states there is a certain candidate (whom I am not endorsing by quoting) that is using "the system is broken" as one leg of his platform. Without talking politics I will say it is interesting to hear the 'mirror image' problems all around the globe.

Dr. Evil & Control of the World

For purposes of ease, I will call myself Dr. Evil.

My purpose & aim in life is power, wealth & control. Along with a few selected friends who have similar ambitions/objectives as myself, we have come up with a plan to ensure our success. Our evil empire measures our success rate by how much we own, how much authority & influence we have in the world at large, as well as the ‘soft power’ we can muster through all areas of life.

We, as an organization seek nothing more than global domination by whatever means.

Our evil plan is so effective to date, so few even question it. There is a good reason for the lack of questioning, as we have conspired to create ‘mini me’.   Replicas of ourselves, mini me’s  help perpetuate our  own sense of morality, greed, corruption, selfish & ruthless behaviour. This is like an insuarance policy as such, because the promoted social norm, is in fact, an image of ourselves.

What is considered to be moral, just & fair within a so called modern society, is an expectation for the masses to live up to the ideals which we  have manufactured.  Duplicated at every level, through all possible avenues,  helps to ingrain this conditioning, which our evil conspiring group have implemented in the first place.

We are well aware of the potential growth that every human has. Because we are self orientated, self serving & wish to keep our position, there are certain things which need to be secured.

1) Physiological Needs - not everyone will have access to basic needs such as  food & water. In fact, hungry people will usually work for less, so having an abundance of hungry people helps keep our labour costs very low. They will also be more appreciative, subordinate & remain fearful of their employer for they have known the reality of a constantly rumbling stomach from lack of nutrition. So ultimately this tactic of deprivation is beneficial to the building of our evil empire.

Take as much as you can away, then piecemeal it back to them & they will thank you for it.

2) Safety Needs - War is profitable. Not only does our organization own the rights to manufacture weapons, we also have a license to sell them. We will have arms fairs, sell off our outdated weapons to other countries, start wars, internal conflicts & make sure peace is not sustained for too long anywhere. Peace means we are losing money. Not only are we the arms dealer we are also an official world peace keeping force which is supposed to assure people’s saftey & security.

So it is in fact moral to go to war over just about anything really, as it means a steady cash flow.

Our banking friends will make sure that fluctuating markets in house prices, investments, shares, savings & any area of the financial sector is volitile & when there are market crashes, we will buy up low & sell high.

Making people insecure in their homes, finances &  their employment, will be a sure way to exploit even more money from the masses.

Without money people cannot buy resources, which is a good thing really, as our organization wants all the world’s resources.

3) Love/Belonging Needs - creating mini me’s throughout these 3 ‘gates’ or levels will mean that the social norms are regurgtiated via conversation with friends & loved ones. Conditioning to an acceptable  morality (which we designed in the first place) is passed down to the children, almost like an automated machine. To fit in to society means to be the same as us. If you are ruthless, cold hearted, selfish & greedy - that is good, you deserve a slap on the back. If you are otherwise, you need to fit in or harden up. You need to be heartless.

4) Esteem Needs - what is deemed in high esteem is the moral code of gates 1,2,3.

Mini me’s gain confidence by being a relica of Dr. Evil. If you earn 6 figures or more then that is to be naturally appreciated by others, you are a model citizen. You drive a rolls royce, have a large house, perhaps are seen on tv, talked about in the media on a regular basis & are someone the children and other people can look up to.

It does not matter so much of how you obtained your money, you could be an arms dealer, a figure who incites war & killing of innocent people. It might be that you are a ruthless dictator in a third world country who is psychotic & insane. But that is fine as long as you can keep some sort of order for awhile, until those who have the real power decide you are no longer fit for the job.
Then, you’ll likely be revealed for the monster that you are.

But Dr. Frankenstein / Dr. Evil will undoubtably remain hidden, the guy who put you in that position in the first place.
=================================================

*** The above is of course  the complete opposite of what Maslow had in mind.

In Maslow’s view this Heirarchy of Needs highlights some of the common needs which we ALL share as humans.

Perhaps another time we will look at the self actualization (level 5), as it is a complex & intricate peek at the  higher functioning areas of the psyche.

But of course in order to reach that level, all the other 4 levels must be in place first.

Which means the enormous sensitivity & inherent intelligence  of humans requires certain basic needs to be in place before they can reach their full potential.

Our  growth is dependant upon those needs.

How much those needs are being exploited by the likes of Dr. Evil & his organization is arguable.

When you turn the news on the next time, try to look through this ‘Maslow lens’ & see if there is any validity in it whatsoever.

No, I have not read it Bronstein but I just read the chapter breakdowns. Sounds very interesting, as well as highly fitting to this discussion.

He was massively influential in philosophy by the sound of it, as well as many other areas. Thanks for that, another great 'share' of literature/info.

---   Well as we can see by reading history and watching the news there are lots and lots of problems that need to be solved. Perhaps the UN needs to take control of this Planet ( ie: World Government, things can't be much worse than they are now ).

centralising power only serves to create a centralised elite badenwurtca , take time to think about de centralising power ,,,

in britain our power is centred on london , regions outside of this area suffer from a lack of investment industry and infrastructure to the point britain may see Scotland say bye and who would blame them

look in your own area do you feel that the centralised govt listens to the needs of the folk in your area , i hope its yes but i bet its no

Avatar of BronsteinPawn

Yes it is a very interesting book.

Also interesting is that when his freedom of speech was denied he wrote in the walls with his own poop. (Im not so sure about it but it is a nice story lol)

---   If we are all going to be truly equal then we must have someone to regulate the distribution of wealth. For example why should Norway get all of the income from North Sea oil that happens to be near their country. If we are all citizens of the world then Poland, Bulgaria, Bangladesh ( etc etc ) should also get a share as well ( & that includes a share from Middle East oil income as well ). I used the UN as an example since it has been in operation for quite a while.

Power has been centralized for thousands of years, governments are just muppets, they are all controlled by families like the Rockefellers and Rotschilds.

The first link below is a brief of the 17 point plan from the perpective of a conspiracy theorist:

As the UN document says, "We commit ourselves to working tirelessly for the full implementation of this Agenda by 2030."

The 2nd link here is the full official UN document:

***This is said to a Global rollout plan for all countries of the planet implemented by the UN!!!!!

Expect to be hearing a lot more of Agenda 30 in your own country over the next few yrs. It has already started in many countries.

Nice ideals in there, like eradicating poverty etc.  I doubt a 'top down' approach will work but they're obliged to try, or at least pretend that efforts are being made.  They know very well that a 'bottom up' movement wouldn't suit their interests.  They'd sooner have reforms from above than revolution from below.

The inverted Maslow's theory by Nikprit shows how society really works, and in whose favour,  The same individuals and groups that currently wield power won't give it up just because someone presents them with a good case for changing things.  A tiger won't let you remove its claws one by one.

Avatar of Nikprit

Well I am not sure to be honest Firstplay how it all works, but Anok's video sparked that idea & i just run with it.

The 'gated' levels therein has a security system at 5 different levels.

You & i are both old enough to recall the police action, propaganda reports via the media during the miners strikes of the '80's here in the UK.

That might be just one example of the 'theoretical construct' of Maslow's Heirarchy of Needs turned  upside down/perverted methods.

Selling bullshit as you well know - is an art form. Selective footage causes a reaction & people think they see, but they are often conditioned/manipulated into partial or fabricated holywood like scripts which have no bearing whatsoever, on what is really going on.

......I don't profess to know what is going on.....but the patterns are there enough to perk my interest that there is more to the news stories than meets the eye Wink

Avatar of Firstplay

I agree, and this is proved by the ever-growing court cases against the police for lies told during incidents like Hillsborough, the Steven Laurence case and Orgreve during the miners dispute.  I'd hope that more people will realise that media can't be relied on for accurate information as they were the people who peddled those lies.

As you say Nikprit, the media have the power to manipulate events.  They portrayed the miners receiving 'just treatment' for unruly behaviour when in fact they reversed the footage. The miners had been brutally attacked by the police and fought a running rearguard defence against armed cavalry. It's exactly the same as Orwells 1984 where the State run media is just a propaganda machine for a dictatorship.  The media is used to maintain power for the few and ensure that 'we think the right way'.

I think you are looking for sometning called greed, lot of it about right now.

Some of the above have been mentioned already in previous by different people.
I had to look up 2 items on the list which were:

verb (used with object), obfuscated, obfuscating.
1.
to confuse, bewilder, or stupefy.
2.
to make obscure or unclear:
to obfuscate a problem with extraneous information.
3.
to darken.

The DHR Factor: Denial, Hassle, Ridicule:

What other people perceive about you. Denial, hassle ridicule factor. Things are fine the way they are I don’t want to rock the boat because I may have to deal with hassle of other people. The hassle free zone is-- I don’t want all the uncomfortable aspects of life that come with standing up for truth. These are all fear based. Heightening those three forms of mental instability. Trap of inactivity and not really doing anything to make things better
