The worst thing that ever happened to you.
i had numerous bad episodes and one came very close to dying from, my palms are sweating instantly in thinking of it, but nothing so bad as some of the things said above. the close to dying thing, being i was lucky to survive, i don't even know if it can be included in something bad happening. i'm guessing the bad thing would be falling off a building and not being here to write about it.

Two days ago, on his way to work, my brother was in a hit-and-run accident with a vehicle of some kind. They hit his moped and drove off. The accident broke both of his legs, his pelvis, and his nose. He's now in the Intensive Care Unit undergoing multitudes of surgeries to save his legs. He already had surgeries which opened the skin on his legs to allow the muscles to swell so they would not die from the pressure which would build up (which I could see on his right leg), and inserted metal rods into his legs to help straighten the broken bones. I saw him just a few hours ago. He was fighting the morphine he was being given through his IV, in a state of shock, unable to speak and opening his eyes unevenly, struggling to keep his eyeballs from rolling back in his head as he looked at us for a few seconds before falling unconscious again. I could see the tears in his eyes while the machines registered his unstable breathing. It is estimated to be a week and a half before he is released to a rehabilitation center to learn how to walk again. My father had to call his workplace and his apartment manager to inform them of the situation. For his safety, I won't mention any location names, or the name of my brother. I cannot bear to see him in such a state, and the accident has left me paranoid, afraid the world is out to get me. The police are investigating the matter and are searching for the perpetrator. I can only hope he recovers and can walk again.
