Have you noticed Tom that whenever a native French speaker addresses him in French his response is always one short sentence of French and then he flips to English?
Who knows, I don't care to be honest. But as a note aside, I think it must be extremely hard to pretend a nationality among those who really have it unless you have a very deep knowledge of their language and culture.
