If Chess.com had more games like checkers or solitaire it would be a more popular website, as it would then be open to more people, especially if it could attract more children, because clearly; chess.com is mostly filled with students.

They tried that a while ago. They started up a separate website for all those games. It was called Gambit.com. It is closed now.

I didn't think NFT's had anything to do with chess either, until they were added.

They are at least tangentially related, as they are NFTs of chess games on site. It's also mentioned they are an experiment.

Besides, the last thing we need here are non chess players posting about tic-tac-toe or Candyland in the forums.
No wait, this person is onto something...think about it...
Chess.com could add lots of things that people need:
- More games, and not just online board games, but candy crush and stuff like that
- Articles and news, not just about chess, but about all the things people are interested in
- Friends functionality could be expanded so that people can keep in touch with their families, and post photo albums
- They could add a mapping function, maybe just driving directions to chess tournaments at first, but later, why not expand that?
...oh, that's the Internet, though. Never mind.
