Tiktok Ban
why cant people from TikTok use YouTube shorts or Instagram? isn't it the same kind of short form videos, just less stupid occasionally?
Flying car is a terrible idea. First, people are too stupid to drive on PRE MARKED ROADS, how will they survive freaking air? Second, the amount of force necessary to hover a car in the air is huge: there’s a reason helicopters are so loud.
Turns out flying planes is frickin easy. There's almost nothing to hit; the only real danger is landing at 200+ mph. (or being an idiot.) Ever heard of an autogyro? It's a cross between a plane and a helicopter except cheaper and safer (plus it only needs like 100 feet of runway).
Besides, full automation of flying is coming soon. We have rotors powerful enough to lift one person in a VTOL craft and navigation is easy, the major problem is making it cheap, reliable, and commercial.
Ok I gotta confess I based what I said solely on a Matt Walsh podcast episode and a Neil degrasse Tyson yt short I put negative thought into it

The reason why flying a plane is so easy and so safe is because all of the piolets are very well trained and ATC is constantly managing flights and making sure each plane is on seperate paths, all that stuff. If flying cars becomes a common thing then there could be up to millions of vehicles piloted by the untrained average americans in the sky at once. ATC would easily be overwhelmed as they can't track millions of vehicles and give them all a separate path. It would be terrible.
I'll concede you that point, but honestly - there is SO MUCH ROOM IN THE SKY. Once we have full automation of flying vehicles (i.e. enter your destination and it will take you there without further user input) it should be pretty safe as there's no chance of idiot users messing stuff up. Besides, realistically without ATC the only issue would, again, be landings or extremely high traffic areas. It's genuinely difficult to even intentionally crash a plane into another plane unless you're going slowly or you have bad luck.

hehe
well, getting a driver's license is a little bit too easy in the US... we let 15 year olds drive on their own so like
Driving is extremely easy, though. It's just those damn cars that ride your tail when you're going 10 over the speed limit...
I think you mean inside of the USA.
I believe it's Bad because the alternatives (Instagram, Snapchat...) are worse.
TikTok is bad to spend you entire life on it, but most people would just switch to Instagram, which is even worse. Respect to those who choose to switch to 小红书
