Many years ago, I worked as an editor and proofreader for Burt Hochberg. I worked at home Monday through Thursday, and at his NYC apartment every Friday. Ragtime piano, in its (as Paul Simon might say) syncopated time, does have its appeal which puts me in mind of player pianos or a calliope I once heard.
