Normally there would be lots of kayaks and canoes, some sail boats and row boats, some paddle boards, and two motor boats.

We also have actual sand now.

At least the sand stayed

The boats were all in storage for the winter when the picture was taken.

I work as a lifeguard, and I teach kayaking and canoeing.

There's a lot more to my workplace, though, because I'm also a regular camp counselor, but my particular area is the waterfront.

We used to have gravel instead of sand, it wasn't pleasant, I'd have bleeding feet in a few weeks.
