What are the notes on my profile?

No, you have to enable them in settings.

It's yeah for if you'd like to note yourself, yet mainly to be dropped a note from a friend, or perhaps someone who's interested to become your friend, they leave note.

You can, but Notes is more for other members to message you. Notes are public though, so what you write or others: it is viewable to everyone who checks your profile.

...unless in settings you set it to be viewed just friends or however you choose to in settings, your option, choice.

It's a safe place to store all of your credit, debit card and banking information. Also passwords, online account, secret questions, pet names and family birthdays.  Don't try this at home, kids.
