For example, that my father and I are in good health, or at least well enough to be in good shape, and that I have good friends at my local church.

And as stated before, Scotland HAD its independence after Bannockburn (1300s), but then threw it all away in the 1700s. And as for the whole "British" term, the only REAL British are the WELSH..."all the rest are foreigners" (ref., the film "ZULU")...
