What came first: the chicken or the egg? (debate)

I think the egg came first. I'll just try and explain, but it'll take me a while.. in the meantime, please have a debate. Just argue for your opinion, and if everyone thinks one answer, just argue for the other answer, whether you think so or not. Thanks! (^з^)-☆

The egg came first: The chicken cannot just appear, it had to have come from the egg. And if you argue 'oh, it evolved though', animals cannot evolve in one lifetime. E.g. If a ostrich hatches out of an egg it cannot evolve into a parrot. So, it would've evolved over time, eventually leaving a chicken egg (EGG! 🥚) which the chicken hatches out of; the chicken comes first. The chicken had to come from somewhere; the egg. If you want more reasoning, I'll try, but I can't think of anything else at the moment 🥲

Pasta_Fobby

Nah Bro chicken first

#2 Wow, that's so much more advanced than my explanation 🤯

tibbyyyy

#4 Why chicken? 🐔

Pasta_Fobby

Alright

Pasta_Fobby

Practically chickens are probably an evolution of precedent animals

Pasta_Fobby

So we can say they "appeared"

Pasta_Fobby

And then they mad eggs

Dinosaur egg

#13 wat

Farism11
Dinosaur eggs came before chickens
Pasta_Fobby

Ai?

tibbyyyy

(You know, you could change the question and say yes, eggs came first as there were amniotic eggs 312million years ago and chickens 58,000 years ago at earliest)

Farism11
And either way, a chicken egg came before the chicken
Pasta_Fobby

Ohhh you mean any kind of egg?

tibbyyyy

#20 I didn't mean any kind of egg, I was just changing the question to give an example.

Pasta_Fobby

Yeah yeah

Pasta_Fobby

Anyways can it beat Goku tho?

tibbyyyy

And I mean, did the alive chicken come first (to lay the egg) or the chicken egg come first (for the chicken to hatch out of)?
