Yes, mother Teresa chose India for that reason. Obviously she won't just go to some place which is absolutely fine. She went to India to actually correct it (the misery and stuff), i dont know much about that, i wrote a report about it long ago, dont remember much. but i'm pretty sure yeah that's not something to be proud about but something to be grateful about
