What is Nothing?

What is nothing? that is truly the Question is nothing just darkness or does darkness still count as something? nothing would have to have zero matter or space inside of it so what has no matter inside of it? Truly our minds cannot comprehend nothing cause it is impossible to understand nor define it but it may be possible nothing is really just like trying to think out of your elbow so to speak so as it goes it is possible to at least think of a definition, which in itself is still hard but it is still possible but it is sorta like being in everything and nothing at the same time sort of a balance in between the two which is impossible to achieve which wraps this forum up.

I think I get what you're trying to say; if we think of nothing we still are thinking something and not nothing. We can define nothing but cannot imagine it...pretty cool.

At surface , nothing is the absence of any material , physical or conceptual , similar to describing null not being the same as zero .
