Did 120 at night in a 62 Chrysler Windsor ... then shut out the lights and count to ten....stupid..

OK.  easy one here.  We cause a distraction say....10 miles down the road.    maybe blow up a car that we both split and bought.  a beat up mobile, then all the troopers in the area will fly to that and we have a 10 mile stretch to just FLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

ok, i've also done that on a country road.  pitch black...never went that fast, however, going even at 45 mph with the lights completely out is freaking nuts.

speaking of learners permit, my boy just got his.  He's all cruising around, one hand on the wheel, chillin as if he's in a low-rider...

I go, "son, you think you're going to pass the test driving like that?! hands at 10 to 2 boy, 10 to 2".   Then he tries to do a "california roll" at a stop sign. 

The kid knows how to drive, he just needs to drive right to pass the damn test!!!

he better be when i'm rollin with him.  I remember when he was real young, say...8 or 9 and his lil brother was about 6, I had an eclipse with a broken emergency brake hand clutch.   One time while cruising down the highway, my boys asked me what that was.  I told them it was the "turbo" button and if pressed and pulled, it would give us a huge turbo boost.  Their eyes lit up so I asked, "do you want to go turbo?"  The younger one yells out, "yea dad!!!" while the older one with a sheepish smile slowly sinks back in his seat.  The younger one kept saying, "do it dad! do it!"  So, I did.  I pressed on that button, yanked back on the clutch and (without them knowing) put the pedal to the medal and boy were we flying!  I look back and I see my six year old with a HUGE grin smiling and his hair was flying back in the wind and all the while he's screaming, "yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!"  haha I look and see my nine year old, completely crunched over (still smiling) but scared to death about the ride.   Now he has his permit, and wants a crotch rocket.   I would love to buy one with him and both could fly...being smart about it but being fast.

I for one do not enjoy going at a high rate of speed. My daugher enjoys it so much she keeps a radar detector in her car.I really don't know what the fastest i have ever diven but i figure someday something unexpected happens to every driver and the faster you are driving the less time you have to react to it. I'm pretty sure in most accidents which results in one or more deaths at least one of the drivers were speeding.

Ive done 120 mph quite a few times on my Mazda and once I almost got into an accident - if the guy in front of me didn't think quick and accelerate, I would have hit him from behind and send him off the road.

I even played chess once while driving albeit at a much lower speeds of 90 mph. It was a blitz game and I won with the Black pieces.

Nowadays I am driving within the speed limits - saves a lot of gas money and it's good for the environment. 😀 😀 😀
