@BasixWhiteBoy. Also by mentioning it you are single handedly challenging those with a religious background to put in their viewpoints. Stay out of the topic completely and it will not enter discussion. Even if it did you would have a valid point of it not being apart of this conversation. Unfortunately you blundered away this thread.

#17 we would help them except they don't want help

I would argue that most every mentally ill person would want help with whatever problem they’re experiencing.

My point is that people who discriminate against furries and what they stand for and say that they’re mentally ill would be more supportive of someone actually experiencing some type of mental illness.

If you really do think this is mental illness, then you should be supportive instead of being hateful for no particular reason.

It was just a quick comment that I had to share. This thread can continue without my post being relevant.

#27 it’s on the first page. That’s the first thing most people will see on this thread.

I find furries a wee bit odd, but I don’t think they deserve hate. I personally don’t support them, but I also don’t hate them.

That’s great. It deserves to be seen. It’s one of the more popular (and not a valid reason) for the hate against this group of people.

This thread is not ruined. I’m sure it will be locked when the reoccurring trolls rage-bait people into an argument and it gets heated. That’s when it’ll be “blundered away”.

Post number 30 is a great example.

why do people hate furries whats the issue with them why do people hate them other than that theyre weird thats not a good answer what makes them weird then

Personally my opinion: we're humans, not animals. We don't dig holes in the ground or groom our skin/fur (if you're a cat). Like people were meant to be people, like God started it, but then came the LGBTQ+ stuff (not saying it's bad), and now people want to identify as an animal or a walmart shopping cart or whatever nonsense. Like just give me a good answer to this:

Why do you want to be an animal?

Like I don't know but it's a blessing to be born, to live, to have a chance to bring life into the world. There are people fighting to end world hunger and basic human rights that are taken away from them, and then there is the furry community, fighting for people to identify as cats. Kind of ridiculous to put them side-by-side.

Out of all of the things we have like this. Furries have the least harmful impact on society that’s harmful. It not really a talking point. So most people don’t care to interfere with their lives.

#35 I’ve discussed this on another thread. I’m around a high school age and I’d like to say it’s more of a phase rather than a lifestyle choice. I’m not saying it’s not weird but there is something g they are trying to find as a furry.

First off, furry does not mean fursuit wearer. A furry is someone who is very interested in anthropomorphic animals. Yes, often this manifests in fursuits- and they’re the ones you notice most. But a really avid STH fan can be a furry.
Second, as a Christian, i see nothing that excuses hating furries. I think there was even this guy that talked about loving your neighbor

Yeah but when there are things like "Furry Con" where people put fur on themselves and bark and hop on the ground like they are animals. But they are not. It's not okay for a 5 year old to want to turn into a cat, or a dog, or get surgical implants to have animal-like features.

Maybe misinformation. I used to hate furries cause I thought they were attracted to animals. Can’t speak for others tho

Bud we're talking about people who want to identify as an animal. You got a dif type of furry there.

Lemme say this again. There are two definitions of furries for two different generations. The definition for millennials on back were those s*xually attracted to animals. Nowadays it’s means you are role playing as an animal.

So, it’s wrong to act like something you’re not?
Someone needs to shut Hollywood down right now

#43 yeah that’s weird but not hate worthy
Avatar of 1AncientConcavenator
#41 yeah I personally think that’s taking it too far. Like changing genders is already borderline too much but like changing your species… dude why.
