Books, without any doubt. ![]()
Which do you use most? TV, Phone, Books
Ooh, this is a good one. Hmm...
Least is phone for sure, but most of the options would easily be a computer if that was a fourth option. It is between books or tv for me. I'd say I read books more if tv counts shows via channels and network stations, but I'd say tv more if this counts DVDs as I enjoy lots of older comedies I have on DVD.
I don't really watch too many "current" tv shows. The only tv show I really watch now is The Curse of Oak Island on History channel. As for my reading, it is mostly chess reading at the moment.
I use my phone for this app so that is the reason phone was on the top of the list. I play alot of chess.🙂. I wish I was better at it.☹️
Well we all have to begin somewhere. ![]()
Here is a useful blog post I wrote on chess.com to help (especially if you don't already use chess opening principles) https://www.chess.com/blog/KeSetoKaiba/opening-principles-again
We could also play unrated live chess sometime for learning as well @OldSpooky - maybe I can offer some tailored advice this way. Anyhow, see ya around chess.com ![]()
When I posted that half serious post earlier I was on a 3 game losing skid☹️ I just finished a nail biter against a pretty worthy opponent to where I got to deliver a pretty vicious mate😳. So now it's all good in Old Spooky's world🙂. My grousing is really only joking, not meant to be negative. I am always looking to improve so I definitely would like to get some pointers from you sometime. You got a great blog here, keep up the good work 😊
Thanks

By the way, losing 3 games in a row isn't fun, but it is a lot more common than you might expect. Variance is a very real thing and I've gone on non-tilt losing streaks of at least 6 games per session before (in rapid - bullet or blitz could be even greater swings!). Occasionally this will happen, but similarly you might also win this many games in a row too!
