I’ve tried Mario before, but I treat it like a Sonic game and keep trying to speedrun everything xD

I know a lot of people are nostalgic to Mario and Nintendo because they grew up with games in the 80s, but I grew up with Sonic games (hand-me down games from cousins mostly). As for playstyle, Nintendo games (Mario etc.) are generally more beginner-friendly, whereas SEGA games (Sonic etc.) are generally more intense in gameplay (Bayonetta came to mind, but there’s others too). It’s more of a preference to if you like enjoyable games, or if you like an intense challenge.
