Would you like to see duelling brought back? You know fighting at dawn with French foils or pistols? I think if we brought duelling back people would be more careful with what they say and would think twice before insulting others.
You think fighting a duel takes no courage? then you wired to the moon. Its not violence per se, pistols are messy things i agree, I would limit it to swords and no killing, first blood only. What is there to say if someone insults your mom? What argument shall you proffer? there is none, you just call the cad out for a duel, carve a big Z in his trousers, panic over problems solved.
Is there no one you would like to swish a Z onto? maybe some feminists? perhaps you are too erudite to engage in mindless violence?
a duel has to be accepted, its not the same thing as gratuitous violence or randomly inflicting pain on some unsuspecting passer-by. Furthermore it was a test of the swordsman skill in not maiming his adversary, simply giving him a little nick as one would get when shaving.
anyway you are too erudite for that sort of thing can we talk about feminism for you seem to have some strong opinions, maybe you can teach me something?

It is a fair question. I still do not know why I was blocked by her.
