When I watched it I wasn’t too surprised because I knew the gist of what was going to happens because of the comics, but it was a great movie. I’m just waiting for ms marvel to come save them all

It’s the same in like all movies though. For example, in the most recent maze runner, they jumped off a building into a pool, but at the height they were at they would have died, but they didn’t even have any broken bones or anything

First: Alien Technology has probably been developed that would curb the destruction of Africa

Second: Thor is an ASGUARDIAN you fool. Try killing one, seriously.

Love how Mark Ruffalo spoiled the ending a year ago and no one noticed...

OK, OK, I give you Thors hair argument. But to be fair, since when have these movies needed to be grounded in science? The movie is about a purple titan seeking to destroy half the universe with superpowered gems, and the superpowered beings that try to stop him, that is not grounded in science at all. And even with all this fantasy, Marvel is usually pretty good solving plot holes and initiating proper physics into their movies. One minor slip up isn't going to ruin the franchise...

Also for the death of Loki, there is a fairly interesting theory out there that he posed as Bruce Banner. (I personally do not believe it myself.)

But the theory goes the guy Thanos strangled was a clone and Heimdall knew it. So he sent Loki to earth, posed as Bruce Banner. He chose Bruce because the people of earth hate Loki (since Avengers 1). Not to mention he chose to land in the Sanctum Sanctorum (which they went to in Thor: Ragnorok).

And even if you dont buy it, there is a simpler explanation to Loki's death. As he said in the movie, "for one thing, I am not Asguardian." (He actually is a frost giant).

(The Loki theory also explains why Hulk changed back into Banner so easily and how Banner couldn't change into the Hulk)

And I apologize for the whole "you fool" thing, I just really like the MCU.

MCU is terrible compared to the original comics.
Avatar of Child_Of_Thanos
The comics do have a good 80-90 year advantage over the films though.
Avatar of Child_Of_Thanos
And even if we're counting the real comics to start in the 60s, that is still 50 years advantage.

My father?!?

How dare you? My dad could beat up your dad. Take that noob! lol

Saying that the fact that the comics are not better because they have a 50 year advantage is like saying the Yankees don’t really have more World Series wins than the Mets.
Avatar of DMark4
Because of their 50 year advantage
Avatar of Child_Of_Thanos
Its not really. The Yankees would have the advantage over the mets because they were able to draft and instill a better roster. That doesn't take 50 years to do, it could potentially just take one offseason. However with the comic and pop-fiction world, you need time to build up a universe of imagination. You have to indrotude individuals to later introduce teams to later introduce more characters to later introduce more teams. Its not a "one offseason" kind of thing. Time is actually a major factor in comic development, unlike sports.
