Normal is boring.  If we were all the same, then when would anything be interesting, or even just time-consuming.  I can assure you that this has consumed at least a litte bit of your time, and that maybe you even smirked at my strange sense of humor.  Either way, we're all different from one another, and I embrace that.  I see no reason to be succummbed by what others think is necessary.  I do not feel the need to listen to the music everyone else listens to.  I don't like death metal or pop music, so I listen to grunge rock because I enjoy that.  I don't use Facebook because I think it's pointless and I communicate with my friends face-to-face or, if I need to, I text, although I seldomly do so.  If you should get anything out of this, don't be anybody but yourself.  You will be much more content not being succumbed to the pettyness of today's society and the obsessiveness with social media and gossipping.

True true. Of course we can't generalize it to all cases but that's true; just do not be like the mass.

Interesting... don't you have a fb then? well, I only have it because society of nowadays require us to use it to keep in touch or communicate ourselves for many reasons. But anw, I bet you do have a cell phone, right? And probably you must think that nobody lives without a cell phone in nowadays... so, I have gained 3 but until today I don't use anyone of these and even decided to give one to my maid here. Don't know why though but I don't feel like using that, simply unnecessary for me...(weird, no? LOL) Everyone tells me I'm weird for it but well I live very well without that... (sometimes it's better than having to be honest, because then nobody annoys or bothers you lol).

I do not have a facebook, but I have a friend who keeps me posted whenever there's something that I should know that's spread all over facebook, and yes, I do have a cell phone, but I rarely use it, maybe once a month to meet up with a friend to go four-wheeling in the summer, and only once to meet up with someone to go downhill skiing in Canada. I personally think that it is better to keep to myself as much as I can and not shove my nose in everyone else's business like most people seem to do in small towns.
