"Drawmongered" is a weird new word. As far as I can see, it means: "Although I was more highly rated than my opponent, I am incapable of defeating him!"

True, but my opponent was white and simply countered my Sicilian Dragon with a drawing line.

Anyway, this has nothing to do with he being a kid.

Kids tend to play by what they want to do, not by what makes them get better overall. Most just want quick and easy rating.

To force a draw against a 200 higher rated opponent he must know a thing or two. Actually many of them are underrated.

Yeah, underrated.

Bobby Fischer would not let it bother him.

I remember when I was a very young man, trying to play chess in the basement as the Germans were bombing London. I could not believe all of the noise they were making while I was trying to play a freakin' game of chess. Those rude bomber pilots gave Nazis a bad name that day, in my opinion.

Really? Then you must be close to 90 years old at least.

JScott10
At least.

I always play to improve and not to get cheap rating. That is why although my chess IQ is slowly improving, my otb rating is not. My daily rating is improving. I have had many chances to force draws during many games and lost due to over pushing.

HolographWars

Same one. I played on for some time, opponent just tightened up and waited for me to agree to the draw.
