How to overcome time panic when 10+0 clock is low and warning beeps?

10+0 is my go-to time control, and it’s obviously the most popular around here. The only issue for me is time pressure—once I’m close to timing out and the system warning starts beeping, I totally lose my cool. My moves get so messed up and I blunder horribly, some plays are just mind-bogglingly bad. How do you all get over this time panic? Would love to hear your tricks to stay sharp when the clock is against you!

I mean like our ratings are similar so I guess if u want fast pattern recognition then do puzzles or play bullet and blitz for under time pressure situations

Usually I play relatively fast in 10+0 (I also play rapid exclusively lol), and most of the time my opponent have less time than I do by the endgame. If I am down on time though, I would suggest muting the sound and ignoring the red clock 😂😅and think of ways to draw if you're not in a winning position, or gobble up all of the opponent's pieces and then think of checkmate if you're in a winning position. I'm not really one to give advice though, you're so much better than I am lol.

我一般会设定一个表,想入锅只有三分钟的话,我会开始下的更快。我告诉我自己我不能生下笔 1 分钟还短

You can turn off the clock sound in the settings

I would practice a little with 3 min or 1|1 if you want to improve in time scrambles

It depends on your opponent’s time. Just try to move fast and accurate

I’ve had many games where my time was at like 30 seconds and my opponent’s at 2 minutes and still got the dub. Chess is very psychological. If you move faster and accurately you get in your opponent’s head and make them wonder if they are missing something and overthinking their moves. When in time trouble NEVER take a lot of time on your moves ESPECIALLY when you’re time is under 30 seconds.

Watch the lessons from Daniel Naroditsky, he talks about how to become a time scramble beast
