US Chess possible screw up?

Well it seems to be fixed now

The misspelling of "Sister" is also fixed, so @SwordofSouls2023 was probably correct

If something like this happens again, it would probably be best to do what that page says – "Send corrections to nationalevents@uschess.org"

This is the US Open and if this happened to me, I would be too upset to type out a complaint in a chess.com forum…

Only problem might be is that they already (The Vishals) claimed the prize but idk if it matters

So I dont even know if it will work

Doesn't the U.S. Chess Federation run that event? If so, they've got a loooong history of complete laziness & incompetence. Try calling someone there & see if u can get any resolutuion, there's about a 50% chance u can reach anyone but it's worth trying.
