today in a rated puzzle I could not find a solution for a long time, it turned out that the puzzle had a mistake, and it would be convenient to make the omission button.

There is a mistakes button already. It is the "Report puzzle" button. The ! Icon.

Was this the puzzle?

What's wrong with the intended solution?

Did you check it using an engine?

there are many suggested solutions, but I think that the moment when the white rook is given to the king is unacceptable at this level

There is one obvious first move.  After 1..Qxf2, white is about to get mated.

For white, giving away the rook is one of the ways to stop the mate. He can follow with Qb8+ and then get his queen back to h2 to stop the mate.

What do you think is a better move? After 2 Rb8+ Kh7, white can sac his queen for the rook with 3 Qb1+  but still loses.

The way the puzzle runs is pretty straightforward. After you find 1..Qxf2, the black responses to the Rb8+ follow-up seem pretty obvious.

I don't agree that the puzzle should be reported.

I think it's misrated at 682, because to play 1..Qxf2, you ought to be able to see that the  2 Rb8+ rook check by white and follow-up with 3 Qe4+ leads nowhere.

yes Qxf2 is the best move, then white moves Rb8, then black Kh7, and here the best move for white is Kh2, black takes the knight and the puzzle can be finished. White can get away from checkmate without giving up the rook.

White gets mated after Kh2:
