it sucks for right hander to have the clock on bottom right since the finger is constantly on top of the clock. It's the dummiest setup I can imagine but chess.com doesn't bother to comment so for them it's perfect. I've complained about it before

In the Android app the timers in Blitz are on the right side of the board, and the user's timers is in the lower right. I am left handed. Consequently, I make my moves with my left hand, and hold my phone/tablet with my right hand on the lower right side which obstructs my timer. Not being able to see the timer makes it easy to take far to long to make a move because I can't look at the timer easily until after I make my move.
I have two suggestions to remedy this issue which could be implemented as a configuration setting. The first one is to allow the timer to be switched to the opposite side of the board. The username of each player is currently shown on the left side of the board opposite their timers. The setting could switch the location of the username and timer. It would default to the current spot, and the setting would allow left handed users to switch it to the other side of the board if desired.
My second suggestion is to move both timers to the top of the board. This could be a permanent change or implemented as a setting as well. I could see how this may cause the layout to be rearranged further which might make this option more problematic. Honestly, I prefer my first suggestion better anyway.
Please strongly consider implementing a fix for this issue. I really like the Android app otherwise, and I find myself behind on the clock very frequently because I can't see the timer while I'm thinking about my move. I'm sure I'm not the only left hander that has run into this issue, but us lefties are so used to everything being backwards for us we generally never say anything. Thanks for your consideration.
Sincerely,
Dave the Lefty Chess Player
