Balanced Odds Glitch

I was playing GM Hikaru Nakamura as I usually do in balanced odds games until I realized one of our games was balanced pretty weirdly. I took a picture:

As you can see, in an attempt to balance the game, 1/16 of my h pawn was eaten away. This means I have a slight disadvantage, since the pawn can now move only 15/16 of its full potential (we played the rest of the game which I somehow won the game but the h pawn had trouble promoting because of its decreased mobility, causing me to spend an extra move moving it the extra percent.

I'm a bit annoyed chess.com allowed such a balanced odds game to occur. Usually, when I play balanced odds against Hikaru, I'm only missing 7/8 of my h pawn, but chess.com has given me an extra 16th, which is insulting, since they probably did it because they thought I needed more help beating Hikaru smh.
