Chess.com unfairly banned my old account
Also unrelated, but the thread I had about the petition to ban all players rated under 500 was a joke I made because I was bored

I hope it helps you.

you can tell it's sandbagging and not cheating because in the game history it says closed for abuse next to my name not fair play
Or maybe it was for abuse? And maybe it was long overdue for one of the worst trolls in chess.com's history? Who knows.

I know I've had my history of trolling on the forums, but this ban was confirmed to be "sandbagging" from the support system, as you can tell because my old account is banned for both fair play and abuse at the same time

Thanks
But by making this account I waived my right to appeal my original ban, this forums post is just to share my story on what happened
Your appeal was denied.
it sure looked like what I understand sandbagging to be.
Could you explain what it was by any chance I still haven't any information on what was actually caused the sandbagging ban, and I thought I explained everything that could have been seen as sandbagging in my appeal, appreciate the response btw
My old account, @honchkrowabcd, was banned for "sandbagging" (you can tell it's sandbagging and not cheating because I am banned for fair play and abuse at the same time) even though there is clearly no sandbagging going on anywhere there (you can check the stats). I'm pretty sure I got banned for joining an under 600 daily chess tournament despite my ratings in other time controls being 2000+, but that was just my rating in daily at the time I joined because I didn't play daily chess for years, and there was nothing I could have done, it's not like you can just set your daily rating to your rapid rating. I even submitted an appeal and included explanation for everything that could somehow be seen as sandbagging but they denied that too. I'm pretty sure that by making this "second chance" account it waives my right to appeal my ban in the future and that this thread might get locked (despite the fact that it would take like 30 seconds to look through my profile to see that I'm innocent) but I just wanted to share this so that my friends on chess.com can know what happened and I think it's pretty stupid how you can do literally nothing wrong and get banned and I just wanted to share my story
