- "This move blocks (one of) the [piece]'s defender(s), allowing it to be captured safely."

- "Now [Color] must sacrifice their [piece] to avoid being mated."

- "This is, rather unfortunately, the best move." or "There was no good move there." (Both for Zugzwang situations)

- "[Color] is now in Zugzwang."

- "You gave up a [piece]. Always be wary of bishops!" (For "Sniper Bishop" moments)

- "This threatens back-rank mate." / "This prevents the opponent from being able to play a back-rank mate." / "This allows the opponent to win with a back-rank mate."

- "The [piece] is hanging, but it cannot be taken." (For situations where a "hanging" piece is actually a trap)

- "Your [piece] is pinned, so this move loses material." / "Good job! You noticed that the [piece] is pinned and gained material as a result."

- "The king steps in to defend itself from danger."

- "You sacrificed your [piece]! Now your pawn can promote."

This is all I've got for now. I might have more in the future.
