disconnection issues?

Hi.  Every three or four games I get disconnected mid game.  It looks like my opponent is taking a long time to play their turn, then seconds/minutes go buy and I lose because of an abandoned game.  Anyone else experiencing this?

I'm playing on Safari.

Depending on the route your traffic takes, there could be an issue between you and the site.

There is some information in there that could help. However, with the increases in internet traffic that the site, and the rest of the internet has right now, it is possible that the information there might not help.

I am also experiencing the same issue and as an absolute beginner, I find it unfair that I have to lose points just because of a glitch somewhere that I can't fix. My internet is always strong as my other sites would be working fine when I am getting disconnected. At the very least, can I not lose my points due to a disconnection. I know other people have lost to me via a disconnection, but it does not feel fair...

I had this problem recently. I was using Safari. The problem was fixed when I switched to Google Chrome.

If points couldn't be lost due to a disconnection there would be a lot more purposeful disconnections to stop from losing rating.
