Nope..... no shame at all.  That's how they roll.

Existing subscriptions will see no change in cost or features.

New subscriptions and upgrades will. You can see the change be going the the membership page and clicking the link in the change description to see those prices.

I  upgraded  to   premium yesterday to get access to insights. I hope it will  help improve my game.  Also started playing some of the 906 games. That should help too.

I played on this site for years before becoming a dues paying member. I still think you can play on site without paying anything,

yeah same, I preferred this site to Lichess even without a membership

I think its good value for money. I use it all the time.
