Here today, muted tomorrow?
FIX YOUR AUTO-MUTE SYSTEM CHESS.COM

It happened to me last night. One friend asked for some clarification about club members, I wrote answer and got muted. Worst thing is, all my content from my club simply disappeared . ..
If there was some competition on how stupidly things can be done, this idea with "profanity filter" would score very high.

How hard is it to remember not to swear?
Do you swear in front of your boss?
Do you swear in front of your mother?

At this point, you can get auto-muted without swearing.

Obviously, You don't understand what's the problem here.
Filter is set to scan messages for English "offensive" words/terms, it's also safe to assume there is number of Spanish words included.
In other hand, my messages were written in Serbian and bot wrongly interpreted some words or parts of words as offensive. Something can have offensive meaning in English or Spanish, while in other language it could have completely different meaning.
@lord_hammer probably used Norge (or it's Norwegian ? ).
Serbian speakers found workaround by simply using Cyrillic.

ARE YOU KIDDING?!?!?!?!
POTATO??? MUTED???
Delete this if you want, chess.com. Only the cowards will, and if you guys could use some sense, you can delete the filter and satisfy hundreds...
their posts will be missing. fairly easy to discern if the person is active in a topic you are following.
all of the muted member's topics will be shown as "removed" when you click on them.
aside from that, there is no "list" or notification of mutings. that would defeat the purpose of cc using the bot, as they would have a lot of explaining to do.
so, if a random member is muted that you rarely pay attention to and are not friends with, have a game with, or is not an active poster, you might not notice.
