Getting paired with players more than 1000 points below my rating

Lately the pairing algorithm for automatic play (just clicking 3 minute) seems to be creating some crazy wide pairings. Most recently I was paired against somebody who was rated more than 1000 points lower.

In looking at my opponent's game history ( https://www.chess.com/member/jainar21 ) it looks like he is setting a filter to only challenge players far above his own rating, and the rating algorithm then ends up pairing much higher rated players (who don't manually specify a rating range) with him.

Just clicking 'new 3 min' is way more convenient than having to enter a range manually. It'd be nice to either see this reconciled algorithmically, or to at least enable us to apply an auto-filter to the default new game actions.

You can solve it by set this in settings, I think it is like that: settings - > live games - > and then somewhere is rating so if you are like 1500 lets say, you can write in there -50 and +50, this menas you will play 1450-1550 players. Hope it helps

Thanks! Hopefully that will solve it! It looks like I had set my incoming but not outgoing filter.
