I do not like the new, smaller analysis bar!

Recently chess.com has changed the way analysis bar looks during analysis review.  It is now much thinner and no longer displays the point difference easily.  Instead you have to hover over the bar for it to display.  This makes it much hard to view when going through the moves.  I really hope chess.com changes it back to the old look.  What do you guys think?

Thank you

Same. I filed some feedback about this a short while back, after which the points reappeared, and then a few days after that the points disappeared again. Perhaps coincidentally with the points reappearing, other bugs appeared. So maybe some kind of update has been reverted while it's being rectified.

Let's hope!  I don't see how anyone would ever think this is better now than before!?!?!

Same here, I prefer seeing the number all the time

When I first so the smaller bar I was like, is this a form of trying to be more ingenuity, haha.

The thinner eval bar is not what's bothering me the most, but not seeing the number in it is very annoying ...

Yes, I just noticed this. Weirdly thin bar with no number on it. How is it supposed to be better?

Made a post on the same thing, agree with you 100%, need the number how much you are winning/losing by.

Seems like a downgrade imo, its objectively worse. I dont know why they did this. Looks over function i guess but it doesnt even look good. Give us back the old bar.

+1 - anyone have a stylebot fix by chance?

Yep I don't like it either.  However, having read this thread at least I now know you can still access the numbers (or forced mate moves) if you hover over the bar.  Thanks to the OP for pointing this out.  I just thought that function had gone but thankfully not.  I would still prefer it to go back to before when the numbers were, for ease, displayed permanently as, for a beginner like myself, I find it really useful when I am analysing my games.

Yes, new bar is downgrade. It was a bad idea
