I think Moderators Should Moderate the Daily Puzzle Chat More

I already have been in many situations in the Daily Puzzle chat when people spam inappropriate word, symbols (Specificly one extremely racist and violent one),  or are just spamming weird things. I think that Moderators should moderate the Daily Puzzle.

Report, block and move on.

Okay, but you know, my report took like 12 hours

Report, block and move on. How long it takes is out of our control.

As of April 2025, Chess.com has over 200 million members. 1% is 200,000 if my math is correct. How many people do you think the site has working on things?

Lets be very generous and say its.1 of 1%. Thats what 20,000? tickets a day?

Our? Who is our? Like Chess.com staff? I don't think you are one, but no offence if you are one. I'm just saying to get them banned quicker, I mean there is much more Moderators and Staff combined than just Chess.com staff.

"Our" is us members. OUR job is to report, block and move on. WE have no control over how long it takes. I know I would like my tax refund back sooner, but im one of 350+ Million people.

Okay, but am I not lifting all "our" loads (or people who actually care like us) by asking moderators to help?

The site has X number of moderators and 200+ Million members. Its a simple math problem.

Thats why I keep saying: Block, report and move on.

Okay, sorry if I'm giving you a hard time, but I don't fully understand what you mean, and why we can't have moderators to help on Daily Puzzle.

Because, the more people helping the better.

And also, the better the quality, the better

No need to apologize, I get what youre saying. You want quicker turn around. And what Im saying is this. The site has over 200 Million members. Lets say that 1% report something each day. Thats 200,000 tickets a day if my math is correct. Lets now say that .1 of 1% report something. Thats still 20,000 tickets a day. How many moderators do you think the site has?

Now factor in all the people asking why their tactic rating has dropped? All because they dont pay attention, dont watch the video explaining why, and they keep posting the same question over and over.

1% is 2 Million, no offense, I get your point. Also, that's a lot of reports and also, there are 89 moderators in Chess.com according to my moderator friends thing, but also 89 gives the staff a lot of less work. Especially if they do 50 each.

Also, who else is going to help Chess.com staff?

They don't ask for help.

Plus AI is still not trustworthy

Some reports of mine were ignored. In fact 1/3 of mine were ignored.

I hope a moderator can see this and at least do something.

I think we agree that we would like to see faster responses. Buts thats not realistic IMO based on the number of members vs. The number of moderators. And on weekends its even worse.

Not necessarily, it might just take a couple hours until Martin_Stahl, or one of my moderator friends see this.

Aren't they overworked enough
