Your post is much more thorough! It seems its totally all over the place, and that of the 3 blocks you show, none are correct.
I start to think if published figures of active users suffer from the same issues, and then how this affects the value of chess.com & its ability to generate investment etc. But thats a rabbit hole I do not intend to go down. Hopefully someone else can pick up the tinfoil hat.
To be on the leaderboard you need to have played 1 rated game in the last 90 days, 20 games total and account age over 7 days.
If you look at accounts on the actual leaderboard there are many having not played well over 90 days.
Does this mean that global ranks are not accurate? Is the actual leaderboard different to whats in the stats section on a profile?
