Online gambling is not legal in the US, at least not country wide and for something like chess, so that's not going to happen, and even if it was legal, it too open to abuse and a management minefield/nightmare.

Agreed as Martin said this would encourage people to use assistance in games to win.
How is it online gambling if u are paying to play against someone and if u win u get your money back and theirs

There are places online where you can actually bet on chess matches like this, but in an age where engine use is easy, you have to be kinda dumb to do so.
