pawn promotion

i was looking for the feature where i can choose the piece when one of my pawns makes the arduous journey down to the other end of the board. i saw the option for live games, but no option for daily. i thought that i must be missing something (go ahead, make your jokes!) so i sent a ticket to support.

lo and behold, i was right (i know, hard to believe). a helpful staff member (lauro) confirmed the pawn promotion in daily is only a queen. 

so, this topic is to ask staff to kindly allow the feature where the player chooses the piece for a pawn promotion in daily chess. i think if enough people ask for this they might change it, because, they always listen to us, right?

Surely that's a temporary glitch.

are there others that think this should be changed?

You can't underpromote in daily? Looks like I ain't playing that again. I have had cases in live chess with underpromotion.
