I don't mind anybody in the forums, but I wouldn't mind banning under 1000 elos from commenting on the daily puzzle. Every time I spot a nonsensical comment, it's by someone with less than 1000 elo. If there's a nice queen sac for a forced mate, some people comment like: ''Why give up the queen like that, it would be better to keep the queen and win in some other way''. If the puzzle solution wins material, they complain: ''That's not even a checkmate''.

I would usually respectfully agree or disagree with this one, but this is just rude. We are not braindead, we just haven't been taught to play correctly. This edit you just said: "Edit: I just realized that even though this change would make the forums a better place for everyone, the under 500s would still complain and they might stop buying memberships, which is why I think they should be shadowbanned instead so Chess.com doesn't lose any money." is also impolite. 

You are talking trash about us more than you're explaining why we should be shadowbanned and banned from forums. If you hadn't said those things, I would've actually agreed with you. Because as a person under 500 elo, I suck and shouldn't be on the forums for a long time because I'm not experienced.

Yes, there are a lot of immature children making false accusations of bots or barely contributing on the forums. But we do not like people making fun of our faces and/or offending us. This is harassment to all under-500 Elo players. We may do other things and/or not understand the game or our coaches very well.

Another reason I would say no against your petition is because we have no games on our profile for a reason. We are all human beings and might be doing other things, we might be in different time zones and you can't see it.

The point is I would typically agree but with harassment and behavior like that is offensive and rude towards all people, immature, trolls, or mature under-500 Elo. This is harassment towards us. Please put positive or neutral messages next time, dude.

Lets get serious. Saying anything towards anybody, affects them in a way. It can be bad or good, it depends on their mental level, values, perspective, and status in the hierarchy, and a lot of other factors.
