Solution to disconnect problems

I have plenty of screen shots of disconnects when I am in a winning position. There are plenty of conspiracy theories of why this happens however the solution is simple. Should a disconnect happen and the points are awarded to the wrong person. The aggrieved player can lodge an appeal rather block or report. The software should be able to assess the position and give the "true" outcome. To stop players appealing every time they lose a limit could be set to 3 failed appeals in week then no appeals allowed for a month.

But losing by disconnection is a "true" outcome. It happens when you have a weak connection. It doesn't depend on the board position.

They used to let people disconnect and rejoin multiple times in a game. Sometimes it seemed like people were disconnecting and reconnecting every few seconds. It was quite annoying.

According to your achives, you have lost 20 games by abandonment and have won 19 that way.

It doesn't appear that it made any significant difference in your overall results.

I do not know where you got your stats from but your statement is not true. Most disconnections where I won were obvious forced disconnections because they not me were going to lose. My solution still holds analyse my 39 games where a disconnection made the result then let's see the split?
