spaced repetition

Dear Chess.com team, I've purchased a few courses. I find space repetition very useful, but every time I get a card wrong, it goes to the next compartment? Is this intentional or a bug? As far as I understand, the success of flashcards also comes from the fact that if a card is wrong, it goes back to the first compartment or stays in the same compartment. But how can I work on my weaknesses if the card is repeated at increasingly longer intervals? It makes sense to repeat cards that are correct, but all incorrect ones should be repeated more often, at shorter intervals for learning. If I don't understand something now, the probability that it will be wrong again increases, given the time between the last repetition and the now incorrect one. Since the courses are meant to challenge you, mistakes are important and part of the process. If the bug is fixed, the learning success of the courses could be much greater. :)
