I was stalled at 2000 for years and worked very hard to rise to 2300. Then, the rise was rapid and easy until I got to about 3000. Then my own ambitions helped me cultivate sloppiness. My rating bounces rapidly between 2700 and 3200.

I need slightly less than 600 correct to reach 10,000 correct. Then, I’m going back to Chess Tempo for tactics.

And books, of course. Usually a better choice anyway.
