what? 500 friends?

last time I checked I had a little over 400 friends and I haven't accepted any new friends since then, well now it says I have 519 friends, is this a bug? or is there something I'm missing?

I just checked and I jumped up 40 friends some reason 🤷‍♂️

although I will say, there was a bug recently, people's friends we're disappearing from their lists and it happened to me too, but I don't think that this many people we're absent from my list, something is off...
