Why can't we see mistakes and blunders immediately after the game anymore?

You should be focusing on your worst moves, because those are the ones you need to improve on.
At least, that's what I want to focus on.
All of the sudden, after a game, Chess.com mainly shows you your best moves — great, excellent, brilliant — but not your mistakes and blunders unless you go deeper into the review.

Is there any way to change that? I'd really prefer to see my mistakes and blunders immediately after the game, just like it used to be, or at least give us an option to prioritize worst moves first in the post-game summary.

The only thing I found in the settings so far is this:
Any help would be appreciated!

It's a change some members have. For those that have it, there's no way to change back.

There's a good chance it will roll out site wide and the settings should be updated when that happens.

The only metric I was interested in was blunders. Now I need to analyze every single game to see if I did any blunders. Please make this selectable in a setting I want the old information back!

Only games which said 0,0,0 or where I made a blunder and was interested in what it was I analyzed now I need to check almost every game!

You could also add misses, blunders and mistakes to current changes so we see all 6.

I also learn from my mistakes. So having it not displayed anymore really sucks. How many blunders or mistakes I have made is also automatically a metric for how good I played so displaying only the "good" moves instead makes zero sense for me.

Agreed, this is an annoying update

Emperor-Bluto

accentuating the positive is not so helpful in this case.

Ah good to know we just have to take it like usual. I will now say it sucks because I want to know what I did wrong and you will say "that they will listen to the feedback".

Of course chess.com will do nothing with said feedback and in a few weeks we go through the same song and dance again with another change nobody asked for.

Looks like there are much more people who prefer to see how cool they played a game and chess.com has just adapted for the majority. I wont be surprised if this leads to some positive commercial outcome

You can still see them. There is an option in settings/interface.

Hi, i effectively want to re-create my post here too because i have the same issue + more, and the more people see this threat hopefully the more likely chess.com will add a choice that lets you select the highlighted moves at the end of the game.

With the new system of showing 'positive' instead of negative moves there needs to be a setting for it to show which moves you want to see.

Not every game needs to be analysed, but when you know there is a blunder despite winning you want to know before hopping into a game analysis, it also feels pretty useless to be told you had 5 great moves in a game you lost.

The pain is that there is already a setting but it dosen't allow you to select which move types you want to see:

What's even worse now is that I'm getting 'click-baited' into game reviews with 'fake' brilliants. Take this last game of mine

Exciting right?

No... There was not even a brilliant move in this game.

The most frustrating part is seeing the 'setting' for the feature show the moves I care about analysing (misses, blunders, and brilliants) and showing me completely different moves.

I feel like this even misses the 'jokiness' that chess.com branding has similar to the Duolingo bird bullying you, chess.com would say you have 4 mistakes 3 blunders 2 misdemeanours and a felony charge. Which is a core joke to the community

Hi - Just to let you know that unless i am on a different version to you, this setting is the one that shows the 'positive' moves, with the setting turned off it does not show any move types.

(even despite the setting showing blunders and mistakes)

The issue is that it now only shows positive moves, even though the option explicitly states "mistakes and blunders".
