can chess.com stop awarding me one year anniversary badges

i delete the ugly things but they come back instantly

Lol no one wants these "awards" agreed.

Can you imagine the poor guy who gets one and feels so much better about himself?

"Oh boy, I've been on chess.com for a year!" <pats self on back>

Thankfully, for that guy, the badge is impossible to remove, so he will be happy forever.

Is there any way I can get a 6 mos. and 3 months award badge? 

Chess.com isn't interested in making users happy. It's interested in doing something different.

How about a badge each day?

Every year we're rewarded for simply not dying while time passes.  It's the basic premise behind birthday presents.  Why not here?

I'd like a badge for making a weird face please.

I'm really proficient at doing that.

DrCheckevertim - this is a strange bug we know about. Currently the only way around this is to stop deleting them. If you stop deleting them, they will after a few days stop arriving. Once that happens you can delete the lot of them. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Is the original, once a year, really causing so much greif?
