Can't make friends :'(

On occasion if someone seems interesting I'll send a friend request but chess.com informs me I have 20 pending friend requests & can't send out more.  Can I just cancel those?  Or have a setting that if someone doesn't accept my olive branch within a few days it gets cancelled (their loss ).

You can't make friends?  I see 229 in your list....are you just randomly sending friend requests to strangers or people you've played with?  I find it freaky when people send me friend requests out of the  blue....

If you want strangers to accept your friend requests, consider changing your avatar to a young female in a bathing suit, or similar.

It can even be a well known actress or model. I.e. it doesn't matter if it's obviously fake.

I have loads of online friends from all around the world and I'm very moved by the possibility of all these people making great efforts , including expense, when the time comes, for them to come to my funeral. Very touched...
