Your opponent evidently disconnected and you didn't know it. With that time control, they get 5 minutes to reconnect and then the game is awarded to you. (Blitz and bullet have shorter reconnect times.)

I thought so, but usually when some gets disconnected , I get a message that so and so is disconnected .
But I didn't get any such message .
Sometimes the message doesn't pop up.
I was playing 15|10 time control game against a person named Rabasa.
On move 10 , my opponent had already consumed about 5 minutes and the site awarded the game to me saying my opponent has violated Fair Play policy .
Rabasa may have violated our Fair Play policy - it has been noted and they may have their account restricted.
How does it decide ?
Legally he can take 15 mins to think , right?
Please justify this .
But one thing . There was no suprise expressed by my opponent .
Either he/she was too stunned or is still thinking :-)
