Forums need thumbs up and thumbs down buttons.

A lot of times I read through a thread and agree with a few posts and disagree with a few but don't really want to enter the fray. I would like another option such as thumbs up and down. Anyone else?

That would be nice.

Actually, there is a way to do this in V3. I'll let you figure this out on your own though, it's not exactly very obvious.

You better explain it to him Finn, Denny isn't exactly the sharpest tack in the box, nor does the elevator go all the way to the top; and, although the lights seem on, there is just nobody home

No, it's possible. You have to use V3.

I have been using v3 almost exclusively for the past three months and before that I was using it at least 50% of the time for a couple of months before that. What you suggest doesnt currently exist.

He's probably talking about the V3 thumbs-up/thumbs-down emoticons.
But I concur, other sites have instituted this as well, and I think it is very smart. It would be a nice way to share your opinion without having to get into one of those nasty firefights I see on here every day!

How about about a steaming turd pile up/down vote? It cut to the heart of the matter.

That's possible finn416 was talking about that but as you say, it isn't useful, especially in the manner desired by the OP.
