This is actually a very good idea although I'm sure chess.com doesn't really want to talk about issues or bugs too much. :)
Known Issues Post
Would be nice if there was a Known Issues post/topic in the Help & Support forums maybe that had a list of issues that are known about that are being worked on.
Maybe as a sticky and can only be posted in by Staff and MODs. Then, people could either look there first or we could point posters to that if they happen to be encountering the problem.
Then just mark things as Resolved with the date so people would know if it was fixed or not. One example would be the clock issue on the iPad app.
That sounds like a good idea!
I agree, it is.
However, chess.Com is working on rebuilding from the ground up. Many known bugs which ARE known and documented are not in v3.
Therefore, when you find an issue in v3, please use the report a bug button on top that goes right to the developers
Thanks!!
Yeah now only the waiting game for v3 starts again...
It SHOULD be soon. I think they're just fixing bugs now and working on a few MAJOR UI improvements
My remark sounds maybe a little harsh, it's just that's everyone (non premium members) can't wait for the release! Will the chess.com app also be updated?

All the apps have been updated to v3 earlier this year, in fact many of the apps are V3.1
The web is the last Chess.com thing to be transitioned
Wow, am I dreaming!?! A staff member. Thought they all died.
Never ever seen one in the help and support channel in live chess. Nor do I get replies to my e-mails. pffff.

I completely understand. My rationale for posting was in regards to a bug that was/is impacting the iOS version of the application.
I actually saw an early post about it and then when I saw additional H&S posts come up I couldnt' find that initial report where DeepGreene posted that it was a known issue and it was being worked on. Luckily, he saw the latter post too and was able to give a suggestion to resolve the issue until the new version was/is pushed out.
If we had a forum or web page we could look at and see what the major problems are, we could point people to that, if that covered the issues they were having, and wouldn't have to worry about missing solutions from posts we haven't seen yet.
erik posted in a fairly recent topic that more of the website features/functionality are being added to the app. I don't know if there will eventually be feature parity or not.

3 months later....waiting...waiting...
No, but I doubt that they will be fixed.
Unreported bugs may not get fixed. I've reported things in v3 and they have been fixed.
Yes, please report any bugs you find! We're constantly working on improving the site and the apps.
For the new site there is the little bug icon that you find at the top of the screen or at the lower left corner depending on where you have chosen to have your menus. For the Android app, you have "Report Problem" in the settings.
