I think that Robert was muted for more like 3 weeks, not days...
Re. being a mod - it's probably tons of work and not anything I could do on a regular basis - but from time to time, why not...

Ok, I fixed that as I do not know the time exactly.
Besides, chess.com, in this case, should not ask for fixed schedule as it is a non paid task.
Remember, the troll must have fun on being mod.

Oh man, I was right there with you until you sold us all out for not a penny.
If Chess.com ever wanted my time - let them pay for it.
Let's not sell your idea well short of the mark here, oh King. I am now officially on strike for a pay raise before we even start

Shhh... The non paid job is just a bait.
As I am sure we will be EXCELLENT and THE BEST mods, they will not have another choice except paying us... And pay very well.
The free moderating is just a bait... shhhh...
No, I have a righteous cause now. I want to see pro-active options on the table, like image bombing, fast spamming, furious rage in the threads & a revolutionary type of attitude.
You have evoked me into a Braveheart mode now. Am preparing for war as we speak. I have been on strike for more than 10 minutes already.
Time for action
The best thing about this thread is that it totally ignores kaynight. He's butthurt because of it, and hasn't shown up. And if he does now, it'll be just a confirmation of this. 😂😂😂

The contest was legendary, but I don't think I'm the right person for the job. Me becoming a mod is like a pyromaniac becoming a firefighter, an atheist becoming a preacher, or Mitt Romney becoming Donald Trump's campaign manager.
I would make an excellent MOD, the reason why I would be awesome is because I would get rid of Cheaters starting with [public accusation not allowed -- MOD]. Since Chess.com staff wont get rid of them for some unknown reason, I would ban them on the spot.
I would keep abusive players to a minimum, I would ban cheaters or any hint of cheating, and I would ban multiple account users. Trust me , I know all of them and I know many many cheaters that are still active. If Chess.com want a no nonsense type of MOD who will not tolorate any of the above things mentioned then Im your person.
Moderators don't handle that as the site has dedicated staff to do it.
The SuperTroll Awards will be held in 'One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest' which is a cyber movie, a mad cap comedy with video, gifs, pics, members acting roles with our resident Holywood cyber star Meximartini.
The Academy will also be handing out 2 more Chess Oscars to members who have made outstanding contributions to this site.
NB - Neither the Chess Oscars nor the Supertroll Awards have NOTHING whatsoever to do with ANY other troll organizations & no self annointed trolls of level 12 or above are eligible for either award.

+1 full support here. If mods don't handle these things make me and Jackie a staff member. We will be the best staff for sure.
Regarding to the forum below, in which many users complain about moderators, I have a solution.
https://www.chess.com/forum/view/community/have-staff-mods-destroyed-the-forums
The solution is simple:
it is the same solution used by FBI in the case FRANK ABAGNALE JR., as seen in the famous movie CATCH ME IF YOU CAN.
My suggestion is make some known TROLLS (be careful: the high level trolls) to be moderators.
Here I list the advantages:
1 - As shown in CATCH ME IF YOU CAN, the trolls know better the bad behavior in forums. We have a reputable academy (chess.com Troll University, TROLLU) in which we discuss the behaviors of the bad trolls).
2 - If we know the enemy... We know how to fight! It is the same as shown in CATCH ME IF YOU CAN: FBI contracted Frank Abagnale to find the falsifiers, as Frank was specialist on that!
3 - Trolls are funny by nature (only the good trolls, not rude people). If they are moderators, they can mod in a funny way. Then chess.com will solve the problem: some mods are boring.
4 - If you name a troll as moderator, you may solve 2 problems with only 1 shot: the troll will tend to be more serious and abandon the bad trolling behavior.
It happened with Frank Abagnale in real life: after worked for FBI, Frank never went back to criminal life.
SEE ?? THAT IS WHY I AM THE KING OF PATZERS!!
HERE MY NOMINEÉ FOR TROLL-MODS:
1 - Robert_New_Alekhine: he had the taste of hell after being muted for 90 days. As he bended his knees, chess.com unmuted him after a few days. I think Robert could be an excellent mod, because he is a pre-GM (I think he will be IM within 2 years), he loves chess.com foruns and he is one of the highest members of TROLLU.
2 - BATGIRL: everyone here loves Batgirl, include me. She is a light-hearted troll and writes awesomes articles about chess. She won the Second Chess.com Oscar.
3 - SOLSKYTZ: one of the newest members of TROLLU. He is a 2000+ player and admires the good trolling, specially the funnies trolls.
4 - MARCOBR444: the King of Patzers won the First Chess.com Oscar due his funny and creative trolling, specially PAWN PUSHER series. He is level 12 troll in TROLLU with Robert_New_Alekhine, after an wonderful trolling negotiation.
5 - NIKPRIT: I noticed he has a nice approach on some trolls, then he could become another nice and funny moderator.
